Caroline’s 2009 solo show Human Nature evolved from her artist’s residency at New Pacific Studio near Pukaha, Mt Bruce Wildlife Centre, in New Zealand. The works created there demonstrate the expressive power of her response to that environment, and her continuing love of colour and texture.

Caroline believes it is the artist’s role to push the viewer’s perception beyond the superficial imagery of a work to an understanding of the intellectual and creative forces driving the artistic vision behind that work.

‘Art may reflect the ‘real’ world, but it is not the same thing, it is not limited by the same constraints.’

Caroline’s work is held in private and corporate collections in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Tonga and Noumea.
